Embodiment refers to the idea that our physical body and its sensations and movements are intricately intertwined with our thoughts, perceptions, and emotions. It suggests that the body is not simply a vessel that carries the mind around, but rather an active and integral part of our cognitive and emotional processes.
Embodiment recognizes the importance of bodily experiences, movements, and sensations in shaping our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around us. Sub-optimal embodiment leads to burnout, while the opposite, leads to sustainable and optimal performance
In this workshop, we will explore the concept of embodiment through a series of practices, including functional movements, breathwork, and an optional microdose of psilocybin.
Throughout the workshop, we will invite you to connect with your body and explore the ways in which your physical experience influences your thoughts, emotions, and perceptions. We will begin with a brief introduction to the concept of embodiment and its importance in our daily lives.
Next, we will engage in a series of functional movements designed to increase body awareness, mobility, and strength. These movements are designed to help you feel more connected to your body and to increase your overall sense of well-being.
After the functional movements, we will engage in a breathwork session that will help you connect with your breath and regulate your nervous system. This practice is designed to help you feel more relaxed, focused, and present.
For those who opt to participate, there will also be an opportunity to experience a microdose of psilocybin, a naturally occurring substance that has been shown to have profound effects on consciousness and perception. Our experienced facilitators will provide a safe and supportive environment for those who choose to participate in this part of the workshop.
Lastly, we will have individual and group integration time, followed by an organic vegan lunch to connect with other participants.
Through this workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of your body and its connection to your mind and emotions. You will leave feeling more grounded, centered, and connected to yourself and others.
Whether you are an experienced practitioner of movement and breathwork, or a beginner looking to explore new ways of connecting with your body, this workshop is for you.
We look forward to sharing this unique experience with you!
